Monte Alto Venture Group is led by Georg P. Mavridis, whose 25-year career includes senior executive roles across energy, technology, mobility, and media. Prior to founding Monte Alto, served as the CEO of multiple companies like Energie Steiermark Mobilitäts GmbH, where he planned and operated the federal state of Styria’s electric vehicle infrastructure with over 1,000 charging stations and created Austria’s largest E-Mobility rental company with over 1000 E-Bikes, more than 100 electric cars and much more. He served as General Manager of Energie Steiermark Natur GmbH, delivering certified renewable energy solutions. As a Management Board Member of the Bundesverband Elektromobilität Österreich, he was instrumental in shaping Austria’s interoperable EV charging network alongside major national utility providers. Previously he served as Manager for Business Development at Energie Steiermark AG, where he oversaw strategic growth initiatives across 20 CEE/SEE markets, including M&A and market analysis in over 600 M&A projects. Earlier roles at Shell UK and Steweag-Steg GmbH honed his expertise in data modeling, energy economics, and systems development. His diverse skill set—spanning public-private partnerships, renewable energy, startup ecosystems, and international business development—underpins the strategic clarity and operational excellence at Monte Alto today.
Margareta Kutnjak Mavridis brings over 15 years of cross-sector experience in government, marketing, and strategic communications, with a unique specialization in social partnership, stakeholder engagement, and EU project management. As a supervisory board member of the croatian pension insurance system and a senior advisor within the Ministry of Labour and Pension System of Croatia, she provided organizational and technical leadership for the National Economic and Social Council, coordinated regional labor councils, and facilitated peaceful settlement procedures in collective labor disputes—establishing her as a trusted expert in public-sector negotiation and social dialogue. Her work contributed directly to advancing cooperative frameworks between government, trade unions, and employer associations. Prior to her public service, Margareta held executive and leadership roles in marketing and branding, including as Marketing & Sales Director at Farmamed d.o.o., Project Director for Superbrands Adriatic, and Trade Marketing Manager. In these roles, she led major regional campaigns, developed corporate communications strategies, and coordinated the production and publishing of flagship branding publications. She also gained valuable hospitality industry experience at Bluesun Hotels & Resorts, managing PR, MICE initiatives, online booking systems, and loyalty programs. Margareta’s career reflects a rare blend of institutional knowledge, market-savvy branding, and stakeholder coordination—skills that position her as a key contributor to both public and private sector initiatives within Monte Alto Venture’s operational ecosystem.
